Produced by Cameron Mackintosh, Les Misérables: The Arena Spectacular has launched its record-breaking world tour and will arrive in Singapore in 2026 for a limited number of performances. As the world’s longest-running musical, it celebrates its groundbreaking 40th anniversary in London. This spectacular production features an extraordinary new stage design created specifically for large venues, brought to life by a cast and orchestra of over 65 performers.

Based on the classic novel by Victor Hugo, the story is a powerful tale of broken dreams, unrequited love, passion, sacrifice, and redemption—a timeless testament to the resilience of the human spirit. With a magnificent score that includes iconic songs such as “I Dreamed a Dream,” “On My Own,” “Bring Him Home,” and “One Day More,” this epic and uplifting production is one of the most popular musicals in the world, seen by over 130 million people across 54 countries and in 22 languages.

To celebrate the 40th anniversary of Les Misérables by Claude-Michel Schönberg and Alain Boublil, Cameron Mackintosh has conceived and developed this arena tour. The staging, lighting, and visual design have been reimagined to deliver an epic, cinematic experience for large-scale venues. Featuring a full set, complete costumes, and a live orchestra, the production transitions seamlessly between scenes without traditional set changes.

The Singapore performances at Marina Bay Sands Theatre will retain all the key elements of the international production. Following sold-out shows around the world, this acclaimed experience will now be brought to local audiences.
